China Grain Output May Drop 37% on Climate Change, Agency Says (Bloomberg)

Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- China’s output of grains could decline as much as 37 percent in the second half of this century if measures to counter the effects of climate change aren’t actively implemented, Zheng Guoguang, head of the China Meteorological Administration, said in a statement on the agency’s Web site.
