Wendy’s Burger Chain Exits Japan as Customers Queue on Sidewalk (Bloomberg)

Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Wendy’s closes its doors in Japan today after almost 30 years as queues spill onto the sidewalk at some of the hamburger chain’s 71 restaurants.
