Japan May Boost Feed Rice Output 10-Fold to Reduce Corn Imports (Bloomberg)

Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Japan, the world’s largest corn buyer , may increase rice production for livestock feed more than 10- fold in an attempt to reduce imports, said an executive from the Central Union of Agricultural Co-Operatives.
